How studying abroad works

Six steps, in order. Each country guide fills in the fees, money and dates for that country.

  1. Step 1: Choose a country and course

Compare costs, work rights and post-study options against your budget and goals.

  2. Step 2: Check you are eligible

Academic results, English test scores and any study gap. Each country and institution sets its own minimums.

  3. Step 3: Apply and get your offer

Apply only to recognised institutions. Each country guide links the official register.

  4. Step 4: Prepare your money evidence

Fees you pay are separate from the funds you must show, and many countries require funds held for a set period.

  5. Step 5: Apply for the student visa

Use the official government channel. Never pay anyone who promises a guaranteed visa.

  6. Step 6: Before you travel

Nepal: Ministry of Education No Objection Letter for foreign exchange. Both: insurance, accommodation, arrival registration.

Why you can trust these numbers

  • Every figure links to its source

The government page it came from, with the date we checked it.

  • Checked every day

An automated job watches each official page; a person reviews every change before it goes live.

  • No visa guarantees, ever

No one can guarantee a visa. Anyone who does is a red flag.

  • Free while we set up

Information only until our counselling licence is issued. We charge no fees.

Flight, hotel and itinerary documents for visa files

Some embassies ask for a flight itinerary or a hotel reservation with a visa application. We prepare them as reservation documents (PDFs), so you don’t buy a ticket before your visa is decided.

Need more than one? See the bundles

For a student visa: most embassies need your real admission letter and, often, a real accommodation contract. Use these documents only where your embassy’s checklist accepts a reservation or an itinerary.

Embassy requirements differ: many accept an itinerary document, some ask for a held airline reservation. Check your embassy's checklist before you apply. The reference number is a Yatra For Fun document number, not an airline PNR, so it will not appear on an airline's Manage Booking page.
