Study in Latvia from Nepal and India
Residence permit for the purpose of study
Non-EU degree students need a residence permit for study (and a visa if required) after their university files an official invitation with the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs; the standard permit fee is €70 and master's and doctoral students are exempt. Students may work 20 hours a week in term (40 in holidays; master's and doctoral students 40), and graduates can get a permit of up to 9 months to look for work or start a business.
