How we work
Service status
Our study-abroad service is being set up. Until our licence from Nepal's Ministry of Education, Science and Technology is issued, this website provides free information only, and enquiries are added to our list so we can contact you when counselling opens. We do not charge any fee in the meantime.
What we do
- Explain each country's official rules, with a link to the government page and the date we checked it.
- Help you shortlist courses and institutions that match your qualifications, English level and budget.
- Help you prepare admission applications and the documents institutions ask for.
What we don't do
- We never guarantee admission, a scholarship, a job, permanent residence or a visa.
- We never handle your tuition — you pay the institution directly from your bank, as Nepal Rastra Bank rules require.
- We don't give paid immigration advice where the law reserves it for licensed advisers — for example, Canadian study permits (only authorised representatives such as licensed RCICs may advise for a fee).
- We never prepare or accept false documents. Fake documents can mean refusal and multi-year entry bans.
Fees and commissions
Many institutions pay education agents a commission when a student enrols. When our counselling service opens we will tell you, before you apply, which institutions on your shortlist pay us, and any fixed service fee will be agreed in writing in advance — with the refund terms. There are no “visa success” fees.
Other Yatra For Fun services
Yatra For Fun, the travel company behind these guides, sells flight, hotel and itinerary reservation documents for visa files. We mention them where an official checklist asks for such a document, and we say clearly that most student visas need your real admission and accommodation documents.
Advertising
These guides are free, and pages show Google ads to help pay for the research. Advertisers have no say in our figures or rankings, an ad is not a recommendation, and we never show ads on the enquiry form. If an ad promises a guaranteed visa or admission, treat it as a warning sign.
Your data
We store what you enter in the enquiry form only to contact you about studying abroad. We do not sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should contact us with you. See our privacy policy.
Complaints
If something goes wrong, use our complaints process. We keep a record of every complaint and reply in writing.
