Study in Kazakhstan from Nepal and India

Education visa (C9)

Students from India and Nepal need a C9 education visa, issued by a Kazakh embassy on a university invitation; the Embassy in New Delhi, which also covers Nepal, charges US$80 single-entry or US$200 multiple-entry. The Indian Embassy says student-visa holders may not work, and from 2026-27 Kazakh medical degrees run seven years, with a possible six-year fast track for international students.

Important: Kazakhstan is changing its medical degree to 7 years from 2026-27; the Indian Embassy in Astana is still awaiting official clarification on the 6-year fast track and licensing — check before enrolling.

Flight, hotel and itinerary documents for visa files

Some embassies ask for a flight itinerary or a hotel reservation with a visa application. We prepare them as reservation documents (PDFs), so you don’t buy a ticket before your visa is decided.

Need more than one? See the bundles

For a student visa: most embassies need your real admission letter and, often, a real accommodation contract. Use these documents only where your embassy’s checklist accepts a reservation or an itinerary.

Embassy requirements differ: many accept an itinerary document, some ask for a held airline reservation. Check your embassy's checklist before you apply. The reference number is a Yatra For Fun document number, not an airline PNR, so it will not appear on an airline's Manage Booking page.
