Study in Bangladesh from Nepal and India
Student (S) visa
Foreign students need a Student (S) visa, and for MBBS/BDS the Bangladesh Embassy in Kathmandu also asks for an equivalence certificate from the Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME). Government medical colleges reserve SAARC-quota seats charged at local-student fees (2025-26: 19 MBBS + 3 BDS for Nepal, 22 MBBS + 2 BDS for India), while private colleges take foreign students through DGME's online portal.
